About Brandon Wallburg

A recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in Political Science, Brandon has chosen to defer law school in order to dedicate himself fully to public service. While preparing for the LSAT, he is focusing his time and energy on ensuring Clinton County prospers for all who call it home.

From the beginning of his academic career, Brandon stood out as a leader. He became the first-ever freshman elected as Student Trustee at SUNY Clinton and later served on the executive committee of the SUNY Student Assembly (SUNYSA), overseeing five community colleges and more than 15,000 students. This leadership role gave him valuable experience managing responsibilities on a scale larger than the 7,500 constituents he now seeks to represent in Area 10.

Brandon is not a career politician. He rejects partisan gridlock and instead believes in what he calls Principled Politics—putting people first, not parties. For Brandon, every resident—regardless of race, ideology, or background—deserves to be heard and respected. Brandon Wallburg believes that a prosperous Clinton County should be a place where young families want to stay and build their future, instead of leaving in search of opportunity elsewhere. For him, the true endorsement will always come from the community itself. That's why his campaign is built on accessibility, transparency, and being present for the people he represents.
